Hen & Stag Parties?
Yes! We accept Hen & Stag Parties. In fact, we are delighted when you choose to stay at Drumbo Country House. We are perfectly geared for you to celebrate such a milestone event with us. And as we see a lot of Hen & Stag Parties, we can also help with ideas that others have had success with.
Dog Friendly?
Unfortunately we are NOT dog friendly. We live onsite with our Chihuahua who is dog reactive, and also not allowed in to the guest accommodation, so we kindly request that you don't ask if you can bring your dog, as we don't want to be rude when we say no.
Deposit?
Yes, we take a 20% deposit to secure your dates within 24hrs of making a provisional booking or the date gets released again. Final balance is due a week before arrival. Refunds of deposit will only be actioned if the stay is more than a month away, it can also be transferred to a new date. Anything less than a month is only returned if the dates get re-booked.
Transport?
The mini-bus seats 15 people plus a driver. We can offer transport to and from the airport, docks and train station and to and from your booked activities. It may not always be available due to holidays and other work commitments, so please check at time of booking if you require it. There may be a fee for this service. Additional guests are transported by car.
Check In - Check Out
Check In is at 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Check Out is at 11am or earlier. No we don't offer late check-outs as the cleaners commence work at 11am. If you do have a late flight, we are happy to hold your luggage if you don't want to carry it around on your final hours in the city, and bring it back to you.
Enhance Your Stay
For most 'Enhance Your Stay' options, we need a weeks notice to organise, so please let us know and we can arrange these for you.
Extra Guests?
We have a minimum price based on 10 guests. If your numbers go up and down between initial booking and final balance payment, just let us know. We can adjust the balance up to one week before arrival to reflect final numbers. Deposit taken at time of booking is based on initial numbers indicated.
Outside Entertainment
As long as we know that there are outside entertainers, caterers or the like due, we are okay. We don't need the details, just a heads up that people will be coming and going. As you can appreciate with us living onsite, when multiple cars start arriving above what arrived at check-in, it can send alarm bells that something amiss is going on. We aren't spoil sports by any means, we are just taking care of our home and business, as we trust that you will too.
Quiet Time?
We do have a quiet time that applies to the outdoor areas only from 10pm until 7am, out of respect for our neighbour. At this time, we close the hot tub, sauna and switch the main lights to night time security lighting which is dimmer, but still lit enough to make a trek across the garden if the horse truck is in use. And to have a quiet cigarette or vape outside. We do not ask you to go to bed, simply to move into The Swallow that was created for you to enjoy yourselves in for the entire duration of your stay if you wish!
